Set up a 6to4 network port on Mac
IPv6 is a version of the Internet Protocol (IP) that provides more IP address space than IPv4. In most cases, you don’t need to manually set up IPv6. Check with your network administrator or ISP if you’re not sure.
If you need to connect to an IPv6 address and your network doesn’t offer IPv6 connectivity, you can set up a 6to4 network port configuration instead.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
.Click the Add button
, click the Interface pop-up menu, then choose 6to4.Give the configuration a name, then click Create.
If you were given a relay address, click the Configure pop-up menu, choose Manually, then enter the address. Otherwise, leave the setting as Automatic.
Click Apply.
