Create ambiance with Sound Glow
Sound Glow turns the top of HomePod into a light display that syncs with your audio, using colors from the album art when you play music. Certain soundscapes have their own light animation; for example, the Rain soundscape shows a gentle, pitter-patter light effect. If the audio track doesn’t have artwork, Sound Glow uses a default animation.
Note: Sound Glow isn’t available on HomePod (1st generation). Sound Glow doesn’t turn on while you’re watching video.
Go to the Home app
on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap the HomePod, then tap

Turn Sound Glow on or off.
