Write text using Ink on Mac
Write text using the Ink pad or a stylus.
If you use a stylus, your text appears in the app window (you can write anywhere except over the Dock, menus, or window controls). When you stop writing or move the stylus away from the tablet, Ink inserts the text into your document.
In the Ink app on your Mac, do any of the following:
Insert punctuation: Highlight the last letter of a word, then rewrite the letter followed by the punctuation, such as a comma or period.
Insert spaces between words: Set the insertion point where the space should appear, then use the Horizontal Space gesture.
Insert a space in front of a word: Draw a caret (^) in front of the first letter of the word, near the bottom of the letter.
Correct words: Hold down the Control key, click a word, then choose an alternate word from the list.
Enter a keyboard shortcut: Using a stylus, tap a modifier key symbol in the Ink toolbar, then write the character that completes the command. For example, to quit an app, tap the Command symbol in the toolbar, then write Q. To enter several shortcuts in succession, lock a modifier key by double-clicking its symbol in the Ink toolbar. Click it again to release the lock.
If you have a trackpad or Magic Mouse, you can use Trackpad Handwriting to enter Chinese characters.
