Copy or reset transform settings in Final Cut Pro for iPad
After you modify transform settings in a timeline clip—for example, by resizing or cropping it—you can copy those settings and paste them into another timeline clip. If you don’t like the transform changes you’ve made to a timeline clip, you can easily reset them to their default values.
Copy transform settings between clips
- Go to the Final Cut Pro app  on your iPad. on your iPad.
- Open a project. 
- In the timeline, tap a clip whose transform settings have been modified. 
- Tap Inspect in the lower-left corner of the screen, then tap  at the top of the inspector. at the top of the inspector.
- Tap  at the top of the inspector, then tap Copy All Settings. at the top of the inspector, then tap Copy All Settings.
- In the timeline, tap another clip. 
- In the inspector, tap  , then tap Paste Transform Settings. , then tap Paste Transform Settings.- All of the transform settings from the first clip are applied to the second clip. 
Reset the transform settings in a clip
You can easily reset transform settings, including cropping or reframing, that you’ve made to a timeline clip.
- Go to the Final Cut Pro app  on your iPad. on your iPad.
- Open a project. 
- In the timeline, tap a clip whose transform settings have been modified. 
- Tap Inspect in the lower-left corner of the screen, then tap  at the top of the inspector. at the top of the inspector.
- Tap  at the top of the inspector, then tap Reset Transform Settings. at the top of the inspector, then tap Reset Transform Settings.- The clip returns to its default transform settings, and any transform keyframes you applied to the clip in the keyframe editor are removed.
