Control access to screen and system audio recording on Mac
Some apps and websites can access and record the screen and audio on your Mac. You can decide which apps and websites are allowed to record your screen and audio.
Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click Screen & System Audio Recording.
For each app listed, turn the ability to record on or off.
You can allow apps to record both your screen and audio, or just your audio.
To add an app to a list, click below the list, then navigate to the app you want to add.
If you allow third-party apps or websites to record your screen and audio, any information they collect is governed by their terms and privacy policies. It’s recommended that you learn about the privacy practices of those parties.
If you’re a system administrator and want information about deploying security settings, see Apple Platform Deployment.
