Use iCloud Keychain to keep passwords, accounts, and more up to date with iCloud
With iCloud Keychain, you can securely store your passwords, accounts, and more in iCloud, and access them on all your devices.
Access the same passwords, accounts, and more on all your devices
When you set up iCloud Keychain, your important information is stored in the cloud instead of locally on your device. iCloud Keychain uses industry-standard technologies, like end-to-end encryption, to keep the following information secure:
Safari user names and passwords
Passkeys
Credit card numbers and expiration dates
Wi-Fi and AirPlay passwords
The accounts you use in Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Messages
Because your information is stored in the cloud, you can access it anywhere that’s set up for iCloud Keychain, including your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac. You can also access web passwords on a Windows computer when you turn on iCloud Passwords in iCloud for Windows.
Changes you make on one device—like updating a Safari user name, changing a password, or deleting an account—automatically appear on all your devices. Your information is always up to date, no matter where you access it.
