Change lighting options for Home on Mac

You can gradually and automatically adjust the warmth of colored lights during the day.

1. In the Home app on your Mac, click Home in the sidebar, then double-click a lightbulb accessory.

2. Click the Adaptive Light button in the top-left corner of buttons.

   The color is cooler during the day and warmer during the evening.

To return to one consistent color during the day, click another color button.

You can change the icon of a lightbulb; you can’t change the icon of other accessories.

1. In the Home app on your Mac, click Home in the sidebar, then double-click a lightbulb accessory.

2. Click the lightbulb icon, then choose an alternative. Click Done, then click the Close button in the top-right corner.
