Allow apps to control other apps on Mac
Some apps can control other apps on your Mac and use the second app’s features without you opening the second app yourself.
Choose Apple menu
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)Click Automation on the right.
For each app in the list, turn the ability to control other apps on or off.
If you allow third-party apps or websites to control other apps, any information they collect is governed by their terms and privacy policies. It’s recommended that you learn about the privacy practices of those parties.
