Import into Final Cut Pro for iPad from Image Playground
In Final Cut Pro for iPad, use Image Playground and Apple Intelligence* to create stylized images in seconds by combining concepts, text descriptions, and people from your photo library.
Note: Image Playground requires an iPad with A17 Pro or M1 or later and iPadOS 18.2 or later.
Go to the Final Cut Pro app
on your iPad.
Open a project, tap
in the toolbar, then tap Image Playground.
Do any of the following:
Create an image from a concept: Tap a concept—a theme, costume, accessory, or place.
Create an image from a description: Tap “Describe an image,” enter a description, then tap Done.
Create an image of a person: Tap
, then choose a person from your photo library.Create an image based on a photo, such as an image of a pet, nature, or food: Tap
in the lower-right corner, then tap Choose Photo or Take Photo.Change the image style: Tap
in the lower-right corner, then tap a style, such as Animation or Illustration.
Swipe left or right on the image to see variations.
When you’re happy with your image, tap Done.
The generated image is imported into the browser as a 1024 x 1024 HEIC file, which you can use in your projects like any other still image.
