Mac Studio (2025) Antenna 3
Before You Begin
Warning
Read Mac Electrical Safety and follow workspace handling guidelines before you begin.

Remove the following parts before you begin:
Tools
Adjustable torque driver (10–34 Ncm)
Antenna tool
Nylon probe (black stick)
Torque driver (orange, 0.85 kgf cm)
Torx Plus 3IP 44 mm half-moon bit
Torx Plus 5IP 50 mm bit
Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.
Removal
Note: If you’ve already completed the removal steps, skip to reassembly.
Position the computer as shown.
Use the orange torque driver and 3IP bit to remove the two 3IP screws (923-12499) from the antenna coaxial cable connector cowling. Remove the cowling and save it for reassembly.
Use the antenna tool to lift the end of the antenna 3 coaxial cable off the connector.
Use the flat end of the black stick to press down on the antenna 3 coaxial cable to release it from the two antenna coaxial cable grounding clips in the housing.
Use the 10–34 Ncm adjustable torque driver and 5IP bit to remove the two 5IP screws (923-12507) from antenna 3.
Lift antenna 3 out of the housing.
Reassembly
Position antenna 3 in the housing.
Set the torque value on the 10–34 Ncm adjustable torque driver to 34 Ncm. Then use the adjustable torque driver and 5IP bit to reinstall the two 5IP screws (923-12507) into antenna 3.
Use the blunt end of the antenna tool to press the end of the antenna 3 coaxial cable to the connector.
Position the antenna coaxial cable connector cowling over the ends of the antenna coaxial cables. Then use the orange torque driver and 3IP bit to reinstall the two 3IP screws (923-12499) into the cowling.
Use the flat end of the black stick to press the antenna 3 coaxial cable into the two antenna coaxial cable grounding clips in the housing.
Reinstall the following parts to complete reassembly:
