Set up a HomePod stereo pair
You can pair two HomePod speakers in the same room to create left and right stereo channels for an immersive soundstage. Creating a HomePod stereo pair requires two HomePod speakers of the same model.
Note: When two HomePod speakers are in a stereo pair, only one responds to Siri requests, plays alarms, and acts as a speakerphone.
Create a stereo pair
Go to the Home app
on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap a HomePod, then tap
.
Tap Create Stereo Pair, then follow the onscreen instructions.
View details about a HomePod in a stereo pair
Go to the Home app
Tap the paired speakers, then tap
Tap Speakers, then tap a HomePod.
Switch left and right channel assignments
Go to the Home app
Tap the paired speakers, then tap
Tap Audio Settings, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Unlink a stereo pair
Go to the Home app
Tap the paired speakers, then tap
Tap Ungroup Accessories.
