Apple TV app at a glance
The Apple TV app is the first place you go to start watching on your smart TV, streaming device, or gaming console. All your TV shows, movies, and more are all in one place.
In the Apple TV app, you can subscribe to and watch Apple TV+, the streaming service featuring original stories from the most creative minds in TV and film. Also in the Apple TV app, you can subscribe to and watch MLS Season Pass, the home to all MLS matches, and hundreds of MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT games.
Because the Apple TV app is also available on Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Mac, you can choose how you want to watch.
Note: Not all devices support on-device transactions, so you may not be able to buy, rent, or subscribe to shows or channels directly. However, you can sign in with your Apple ID to watch items you’ve already purchased, rented, or subscribed to on other devices.
In the Apple TV app, you can:
Subscribe to and watch Apple TV+, featuring original TV shows and movies from Apple (this feature is not available in all countries or regions)
Subscribe to and watch MLS Season Pass, featuring every regular season and playoff match—with no blackouts (this feature is not available in all countries or regions)
Subscribe directly to Apple TV channels such as Paramount+, Starz, and more (Apple TV channels are not available in all countries or regions)
Get recommendations based on your tastes and viewing history
Use the Store screen to get the world’s best movies and TV shows for purchase, rental, or subscription, including Apple TV channels you haven’t subscribed to yet
