About color management in Pixelmator Pro on Mac
Color management ensures that colors are consistent across different screens, devices, and printers. Pixelmator Pro handles this automatically for most images you edit.
You can also manually adjust how Pixelmator Pro manages color when you need to:
Change the color profile of an image for a specific output device such as a printer or digital display
Change the color depth of an image for color-sensitive work or advanced corrections
Use a soft-proof profiler to preview an image in a different color space
Pixelmator Pro works in RGB color space. When you export images, you can convert them to CMYK or grayscale using any color profile installed on your Mac.
Note: RAW layers are always displayed and processed using 16-bit color depth, even in 8-bit documents.
