Intro to clocks on Mac
In addition to the clock in the menu bar on your Mac, you can add a clock to your desktop, and show a clock on your screen saver or Lock Screen. You can also use the Clock app to set alarms, set timers, and check the time in other time zones around the world.
On your Mac, do any of the following:
Customize the clock in the menu bar: See Change the menu bar clock format.
Set the date and time: See Change Date & Time settings.
Set an alarm, set a timer, use a stopwatch, or view a world clock: See the Clock User Guide.
Put a clock on your desktop: See Add and customize widgets.
Show a large clock on the screen saver and Lock Screen: See Change Lock Screen settings.
