Intro to Final Cut Camera
With the Final Cut Camera app on iPhone or iPad, you can record professional videos with full control of your footage and connect to Final Cut Pro for iPad to capture multiple angles at once with Live Multicam. Final Cut Camera puts you in the director’s chair with intuitive pro controls for your entire video production.
With Final Cut Camera, you can:
Record in HEVC (H.265) or Apple ProRes in the SDR (Rec. 709) or HDR (HLG) color space. You can also record in Log in HEVC (or Apple ProRes on supported devices). You can record in 720p, 1080p, or 4K at 24, 25, 30, or 60 frames per second (fps). Frame rates up to 240 fps are available on certain devices. Use your device as a remote camera in a Live Multicam session in Final Cut Pro for iPad. You can connect up to four devices running Final Cut Camera to preview, record, and sync your camera angles in Final Cut Pro for iPad. See Record video in a Live Multicam session.
