Keyboard shortcuts in Contacts on Mac
In the Contacts app on your Mac, you can quickly accomplish many tasks using keyboard shortcuts. See the shortcuts below, as well as in Contacts menus in the Menu bar. In app menus, keyboard shortcuts are represented by symbols.
Note: Keyboard shortcuts in apps may vary depending on the language and keyboard layout you’re using on your Mac. If the shortcuts below don’t work as you expect, look in the app menus in the menu bar to see the correct shortcuts. You can also use the Keyboard Viewer to see your current keyboard layout, known as an input source.
Open Contacts settings
Create a new list (or folder, if you use an Exchange account in Contacts)
Command-1 or Control-Command-S
Show or hide the last import
Go to the next card
Command-Right Bracket (])
Go to the previous card
Command-Left Bracket ([)
Go to your My Card
Merge selected cards (that are in the same account) or link selected cards (that are in different accounts)
Open a card in a separate window
