Share your screen in FaceTime on Mac
During a FaceTime video call or audio call, you can use screen sharing to view a photo album together, get feedback on something you’re working on and more.
Start sharing a screen or window
While on a FaceTime call on your Mac, open an app you want to share in the call.
Click in the menu bar, then click .
Do one of the following:
Share the whole screen: Click Share Entire Screen.
Share a window: Move the pointer to the window you want to share, then click Share This Window.
Share all windows for an app: Move the pointer to the window you want to share, then click Share All [App] Windows.
Tip: You can also start sharing from an app window. Click and hold in the window you want to share, then choose Share Window with [participant] or Share [App] with [participant].
Share additional windows
While sharing one or more windows on a FaceTime call on your Mac, click in the menu bar.
Click Add Windows, move the pointer to the window you want to share, then click Share This Window.
Repeat this step to share another window.
You can also go to the window you want to share, click and hold , then click Share Window with [participant].
Replace what you’re sharing
While sharing one or more windows on a FaceTime call on your Mac, click and hold , then click Replace [participant] Share with this Window.
Stop sharing a window
Click in the window you want to stop sharing, then click Stop Sharing Window with [participant].
If you’re sharing multiple windows, you can also click in the menu bar, click Currently Sharing, then click above the window you want to stop sharing.
Stop sharing your screen
Click in the menu bar, then click the Stop Sharing button. Ending a FaceTime call also ends screen sharing.
