
Record to a track with Logic Remote on iPhone
Using Logic Remote, you can remotely control some of the basic recording functions of Logic Pro.
You can also turn on the metronome—a count-in that plays four beats before recording starts to help you get ready.
Enable a track for recording
In Logic Remote, tap the Record Enable button
for the track.
Start recording
In Logic Remote, tap the Record button
.
Start recording from the previous record position
In Logic Remote, touch and hold the Record button
in the control bar, then tap Record/Record Repeat.
Tap the Record button
.
This deletes the recording, moves the playhead back to the recording start position, and starts recording again.
Turn on the metronome
In Logic Remote, tap the Metronome button
.
You can also tap the control bar display to show the ruler, then swipe in the ruler to set the playhead a few beats before the point where you want the recording to begin. This gives you time to start playing.
