What’s new in Mail on Mac?
The Mail app in macOS Mojave offers new features for sending, receiving and viewing email messages.
You can click the Emoji button in the toolbar of emails you’re writing to easily add emoji and symbols.
You can insert photos or scanned documents from your nearby iPhone or iPad into your emails by clicking the Photo Browser button in the toolbar of your emails, then choosing an option. Or choose File > Import from iPhone or iPad.
You can quickly move selected emails to another mailbox by clicking the Move to button in the toolbar of the Mail window, then choosing a mailbox. Mail can suggest a mailbox based on where you moved similar emails in the past.
When you use Dark Mode on your Mac, Mail shows messages with a dark background. You can deselect this option in Viewing preferences in Mail and see emails with a light background instead. Or you can switch to a light background while viewing or writing a specific message. Choose View > Message > Show with Light Background. To see the message with a dark background again, choose View > Message > Show with Dark Background.
