You’re not connected to the internet
To view the user guide, you need to be connected to the internet. Try one of these methods.

Wi-Fi On your Mac, click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen, then choose a network or choose Join Other Network. | |||||||||||
Personal Hotspot You may be able to use your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) to connect your Mac to the internet. First, on your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Personal Hotspot, then turn on Personal Hotspot. Next, on your Mac, click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar, then choose your Personal Hotspot. | |||||||||||
Ethernet If you have access to an Ethernet network, connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your Mac. If your Mac doesn’t have an Ethernet port, you need an adapter to connect the cable to your Mac. |
Don’t see the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar? Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Network, select Wi-Fi, then select “Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar”.
If you’re still unable to connect to the internet, contact Apple Support. You can use the Apple Support app (available from the App Store) on iPhone or iPad.
