Lock the screen of your Mac

Do any of the following:

• On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Lock Screen.

• Use hot corners.

• Press Touch ID if it’s available on your Mac or Magic Keyboard.

• Press the Lock Screen button if it’s available on your Magic Keyboard.

Do any of the following:

• Press any key, then enter your password.

• Use Touch ID if it’s available on your Mac or Magic Keyboard.

• Use Apple Watch.

If other users have an account on the same Mac, they can log in to their account by clicking Switch User on the Lock Screen.
