Fill storyboard placeholders in iMovie on iPhone

1. In the iMovie app on your iPhone, open a storyboard project.

2. Tap a placeholder in the shot list.

3. Tap the Add button in the top-left corner of the placeholder thumbnail, then tap Choose From Library.

4. Tap Photos to choose a video clip or photo from your library, or tap Albums to choose a video clip or photo from an album.

5. Tap the video clip or photo you want to add to the placeholder.

1. In the iMovie app on your iPhone, open a storyboard project.

2. Tap a placeholder in the shot list.

3. Tap the Add button in the top-left corner of the placeholder thumbnail, then tap Take Video or Photo.

4. Tap Video.

5. Tap the Record button to begin recording video; tap it again to stop recording.

   Tip: You can tap the resolution and frame rate in the upper right to change how the video is recorded. To turn on the automatic flash, tap the Flash button in the upper left.

6. Tap Use Video to add the video to the placeholder, or tap Retake to discard the previous take and record new video.

Recorded videos are stored in your Photos library.

2. Tap a placeholder in the shot list.

3. Tap the Add button in the top-left corner of the placeholder thumbnail, then tap Take Video or Photo.

4. Tap Photo.

5. Tap the Shutter button to take a photo.

   Tip: To turn on the automatic flash, tap the Flash button in the upper left.

6. Tap Use Photo to add the photo to the placeholder, or tap Retake to discard the previous photo and take a new photo.

Photos you take are stored in your Photos library.

1. In the iMovie app on your iPhone, open a storyboard project.

2. Tap a placeholder in the shot list.

3. Tap the Add button in the top-left corner of the placeholder thumbnail, then tap Rename Clip.

   The cursor appears to the right of the current clip name.

4. Type a new name for the clip using the onscreen keyboard, then tap Done.

1. In the iMovie app on your iPhone, open a storyboard project.

2. Touch and hold the video clip or photo you want to delete, then tap Delete Media.

   The video clip or photo is removed from the placeholder.
