Use Find People or Find My Friends on your Apple Watch
On Apple Watch, use Find People (watchOS 6 or later) or Find My Friends
(watchOS 5 or earlier) to see the location of your friends. Find the software version of your device.
First, set up location sharing. Then, learn what you can do with the app on your Apple Watch.

What can you do in Find People or Find My Friends on Apple Watch?
Share your location: You can share your location from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you share your location from an iPhone that’s paired with an Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular models), your location is shared from your Apple Watch when you’re out of range of your iPhone and Apple Watch is on your wrist.
You can start and stop sharing your location with friends at any time.
Locate a friend: Add friends to see their location on a map. You can also get directions to a friend’s location and contact them—right from your Apple Watch.
Set location notifications: Manage location notifications using your Apple Watch. Automatically send notifications to friends when you arrive at or leave a specific location. Get notifications when your friends leave and arrive, too.
Learn how. See View a friend’s location and Use Apple Watch to get directions or contact a friend in the Apple Watch User Guide.
