Ultra Wideband is available on HomePod mini and HomePod (2nd generation), and availability varies by region. Ultra Wideband operation onboard aircraft and ships is prohibited. Ultra Wideband operation outdoors is in violation of 47 U.S.C. 301 and could subject the operator to serious legal penalties. Ultra Wideband may not be used for operation of toys.
Australia: Ultra Wideband transmitters must not be operated within a nominated distance from specified Australian radio-astronomy sites. For further information about nominated distance, please refer to the Radiocommunications (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class Licence 2015 published by the Australian Communications and Media Authority.
