Listen to your identified songs in Spotify or other apps on an Android device
On an Android device, you can automatically add songs you identify to a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify. You can also quickly open and play your identified songs in other apps, such as Spotify or Deezer.
Note: To use Spotify or other music apps with Shazam, the apps must be installed on your device, and you must be a subscriber.
Sync your identified songs to a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify on an Android device
Go to the Shazam app
on an Android device, then tap
(or swipe to the Library).
Tap
, then tap Connect (next to Spotify).
After you’re connected, a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist is created in Spotify. Your identified songs are automatically added to the playlist.
To disconnect Shazam from Spotify, tap Disconnect in Shazam app settings.
Although you can’t add your identified songs to the “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Apple Music and Spotify simultaneously, all of your songs are saved in your Library in the Shazam app and are available on all of your devices (when you’re signed in). You can change your Spotify or Apple Music preferences at any time in Shazam app settings.
Open an identified song in Spotify or other music app on an Android device
Go to the Shazam app
on an Android device, then tap
(or swipe to the Library).
To see all songs, tap Songs.
Do any of the following:
Tap
on a song, then tap an option in the list.
Tap a song, tap
in the track screen, then tap an option in the list.
If Shazam is connected to Spotify in Shazam app settings, tap Spotify on a song (or tap Open Spotify in the track screen) to open the song in the Spotify app.
After the song opens in your selected app, you can add it to any playlist.
