Add pages in Pages on iPad
In a word-processing document, a new page is automatically added as your typing reaches the end of a page. You can also add a new page manually. In page layout documents, you can only add pages manually.
Note: To determine which type of document you have, see word-processing and page layout documents.
- Go to the Pages app  on your iPad. on your iPad.
- Open a document. 
- In Page Thumbnails view, tap the page you want the new page to follow, then tap  . .- If there are other page templates for the template, choose the one you want to add; otherwise a blank page is automatically added. 
In a word processing document, you can also add a page break anywhere to start the next line on a new page. To add a page break, tap  in the shortcut bar, then tap Page Break.
