Change Users & Groups Sharing Only user preferences on Mac
If you’re an administrator of your Mac, you can reset the password and change the picture of a sharing-only user. Learn how to set up a sharing-only user.
To change these preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Users & Groups, then select a Sharing Only user on the left.

Note: If the lock at the bottom left of the pane is locked , click it to unlock the preference pane.

User picture | Click the user picture to edit it, then select a new picture.
Instead of clicking the picture, you can drag an image file from the Finder onto the picture. | ||||||||||
Reset Password | Click this button to change the sharing-only user’s password and password hint. To use the Password Assistant, click the key next to the Password field. See Tips for creating secure passwords. | ||||||||||
Add and Remove | To add a new user or group, click the Add button , then enter the information for the new user or group. To delete a user or group, select it in the list, then click the Remove button . See Delete a user or group. |
