If there’s no app set to open a document on Mac
If you can’t open a document because there is no default app set to open it, you can either choose an app already installed on your Mac or go to the App Store to find more apps.
Choose an app that’s on your Mac: Click Choose Application, then choose an app from the list. Only apps that can open this type of document are available. Other apps are dimmed.
Search the App Store: Click Search App Store to open the App Store. A list of apps that can open this type of document appears.
Thanks for your feedback.
