Edit or remove a location in Apple Business
You can create all your locations at once or you can add your first location, have the content approved by Apple, and review your insights before creating additional locations. You can also use a third-party partner to manage your locations.
Whether your organization has 1 location or 1000, you can manage each location separately.
Sort or search for a location
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to manage locations.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Brands > Locations.
Do any of the following:
Search for a location:
Name: The name of the location, which might be the same as the brand name.
Brand: The name of the brand, which might be the same as the location name.
Address: Where the location is physically located.
Sort your locations by name.
Update an existing location
You should keep location information updated often, so customers can see the latest hours of operation, special offers, and more.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to manage locations.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Brands > Locations.
Sort or search for the location you want to update, then select that location. See Sort or search for a location.
Edit any of the following that may change often, such as:
Showcase: Keep your showcases up to date.
Photos: Rotate or upload new photos—for example, to reflect a season or holiday.
Normal hours: Make sure you have the current hours of operation for this location. See Manage hours.
Special hours: You can adjust the hours of operation for holidays, events, or extended hours (for example, a drive-through window that may stay open later than those for walk-in customers).
Actions: Make sure you keep this up to date for this location.
Good to Know: Tell customers useful facts about this location. This information may appear on Maps, in search results, and across Apple.
Review the location and if it’s not correct, drag the map (or enter coordinates) over the correct building.
Select Save.
For more information about place card information for your locations, see Add a place card header.
Remove a location
You can remove a location if it’s no longer associated with your brand. Before you can remove a location, you need to give one of two reasons why you’re removing this location:
Someone else manages this location: This location is removed from your Apple Business account.
This location is permanently closed: This location is removed from your Apple Business account and marked permanently closed on Maps.
Note: If you want to remove a brand, see Remove a brand.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to manage locations.
