Play podcasts stored on Apple Watch Ultra
After you connect Apple Watch Ultra to Bluetooth headphones or speakers, open the Podcasts app
on your Apple Watch Ultra.Do any of the following.
Turn the Digital Crown to scroll through the artwork, then tap a podcast to play it.
Tap Library, tap Downloaded, then tap a podcast to play it.
Play podcasts from iPhone
Open the Podcasts app
on your Apple Watch Ultra.Tap On iPhone.
Tap a category, navigate to an episode, then tap it.
Stream podcasts to your Apple Watch Ultra
If your Apple Watch Ultra is near your iPhone or connected to a Wi-Fi network or cellular network, you can stream podcasts to your Apple Watch Ultra.
Open the Podcasts app on your Apple Watch Ultra, then do one of the following
Stream from your podcast library: Tap Library, tap a show, tap See All, then tap an episode.
Stream a suggested podcast: Tap Listen Now, scroll down, tap a category such as More to Discover, then tap an episode.
Search for a podcast to stream: Tap Search, enter the name of a podcast, tap Search, tap a result, then tap an episode.
Play podcasts with Siri
Say something like “Hey Siri, play the podcast Wild Things.” Your Apple Watch Ultra plays the podcast’s latest episode.
Mark episodes as played or unplayed
Open the Podcasts app
on your Apple Watch Ultra.Navigate to a list of episodes—go to Library > Latest Episodes, for example.
Swipe left on an episode, then tap
to mark an unplayed episode as played or 
to mark a played episode as unplayed.
Control playback
Turn the Digital Crown to adjust volume. Use these controls to play podcasts on your Apple Watch Ultra:
 | Play the current podcast. | ||||||||||
 | Pause playback. | ||||||||||
 | Skip ahead 30 seconds. | ||||||||||
 | Skip back 15 seconds. | ||||||||||
 | Playback speed. Options include 1x, 1 1/2x, 2x, and 1/2x. | ||||||||||
 | Choose an episode of the currently playing podcast. | ||||||||||
Change Podcasts settings
You can change a number of Podcasts settings, right on your Apple Watch Ultra.
Open the Settings app
on your Apple Watch Ultra.Tap Podcasts, where you can adjust these settings:
Up Next: Choose the number of episodes downloaded to your Apple Watch Ultra from Up Next when your Apple Watch Ultra is syncing.
Saved: Choose the number of episodes not downloaded from Saved when your Apple Watch Ultra is syncing.
Continuous Playback: Turn on to play another episode after the current episode ends.
Skip buttons: Choose the time interval used when tapping the Skip Forward or Skip Back buttons.
External Controls: Tap Next/Previous or Forward/Back to choose the behavior of headphone controls.
Reset Identifier: Reset the identifier used to report aggregate app usage statistics to Apple.
