5. Await your application review
After you successfully complete the testing for a FHIR API endpoint (as previously described), Apple performs an administrative review to ensure that:
Your brand and location information can be easily identified by your patients in the Health app
The Health app can connect securely to your organization’s FHIR API endpoint
If your application is approved
Apple sends you an email with the message that your organization and FHIR API endpoint are approved for the Health app. Unless you take action to change the publication date, your FHIR API endpoint will be published 3 days after Apple sends the approval email.
When you receive your approval email, follow the instructions in Preview your organization on iPhone and iPad.
If your application is denied
If Apple discovers problems, Apple sends you an email describing why your application to publish the FHIR API endpoint wasn’t accepted. For example, an application may be denied if your EHR vendor isn’t supported, or because Health Records isn’t available in your country. For other issues, Apple may offer suggestions for correcting the problem.
If you have questions regarding your application, contact Apple at health_records_support@apple.com.
