Allow apps to record your system audio
Some apps and websites can use audio recording on your Mac to provide you with services and features. For example, an app might record your audio during a FaceTime call. See Control access to screen and system audio recording.
To authorize an app or a website to record your audio, click Allow in the dialog. If you don’t want to authorize the use of audio recording, click Don’t Allow.
If you allow third-party apps or websites to use audio recording, any information they collect is governed by their terms and privacy policies. It’s recommended that you learn about the privacy practices of those parties.
You can review and change which apps and websites can use audio recording in Privacy & Security settings.
Choose Apple menu in the sidebar, then click Screen & System Audio Recording on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
