Update a location’s brand in Apple Business
If necessary, you can update the brand associated with a location. For example, your brand may have purchased another brand and you want the new brand name associated with the existing location.
Updating brands:
Is allowed only within the location’s country or region.
Deletes a location’s showcases, however insights based on that location are retained.
May also change or remove the location’s primary category, logo, and cover photo.
Change a location to an existing brand
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to manage locations.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Brands > Locations.
Sort or search for the location you want to update, then select that location. See Sort or search for a location.
Select Change Brand under the location’s current brand.
Note: The brand needs to be verified and approved by Apple and needs to be in the same country or region as the selected location.
Select an existing brand from the list, then select Change.
After the change, you can create a new showcases. See Edit or delete a showcase.
Change a location to a new brand
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to manage locations.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Brands > Locations.
Sort or search for the location you want to update, then select that location. See Sort or search for a location.
Select Change Brand under the location’s current brand.
Select Create a New Brand, then complete the task Add a single brand to a single organization.
Enter the brand name, select a primary category, then select Change.
Note: Categories are updated regularly. Check back from time to time to see if new categories have been added that more accurately reflect your brand.
After the new brand is approved by Apple, you can create a new showcases. See Edit or delete a showcase.
