Manage user requests from Schoolwork in Apple School Manager
Schoolwork instructors can request Managed Apple IDs for their students so they can use the Schoolwork app. When you approve a request, a Managed Apple ID is created based on the verified email address submitted in the request. Sign-in information can then be sent to the instructor. After the instructor signs in for the first time and changes their password, they are then able to:

Important: If the Managed Apple ID already exists, the request approval fails and the request must be resubmitted with another email address. Federated domains won’t work with this feature.
Approve pending requests
In Apple School Manager , sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator, Site Manager, or People Manager.
Tap Account Requests in the sidebar, then search for pending requests in the search field. See How to search.
Select one or more pending requests, then review the information about the request.
Tap Approve. If this is your first time approving a user, read the dialog, then tap Continue.
You must then Create sign-in information for the new user.
Important: Until the new user signs in and changes their password, the account isn’t active.
Deny pending requests
In Apple School Manager , sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator, Site Manager, or People Manager.
Tap Account Requests in the sidebar, then search for pending requests in the search field. See How to search.
Select one or more pending requests, then review the information about the request.
Tap Deny, review the dialog, then tap Continue.
An email is sent to each user, letting them know their request is denied.
If necessary, tap Close.
