Use Dwell Control on Apple Vision Pro
Dwell Control makes it easier to perform actions by navigating visionOS exclusively with your eyes. You can interact with controls by holding your gaze on them for a selected amount of time, or with a quick upward glance.
Go to the Settings app
on your Apple Vision Pro.Tap Accessibility, tap Interaction, then tap Dwell Control.
Turn on Dwell Control.
Adjust any of the following:
Dwell Options: Choose Long Look to Tap to activate a control by holding your gaze on it for a set amount of time. Choose Glance Up to Tap to activate a control instantly, without waiting—look at the control until a small circle appears above it, then glance up at the circle to tap.
Target (Long Look to Tap only): Change whether Dwell follows the trackpad or system pointer.
Movement Tolerance (Long Look to Tap only): Adjust the distance the cursor can move while dwelling on an item.
Activation Time (Long Look to Tap only): Tap
or
to adjust how long to hold your gaze before an action is initiated.
Dwell Time (Glance Up to Tap only): Tap
or
to adjust how long you need to look at the confirmation circle before the tap is triggered.
Highlight Control: Turn on to show an outline around the control that will be pressed after the dwell timer elapses.
Keyboard: Adjust settings for typing with Dwell Control.
Pause During Media Playback: Turn on to pause Dwell Control when a fullscreen video begins playing.
Show Scroll Controls: Turn on to show onscreen buttons for scrolling with Dwell Control.
Menu Follow: Turn on to keep the Dwell Control menu in your field of view.
