Use VoiceOver to open applications on Mac
You can use Spotlight to browse your applications and quickly open them.
Note: VO represents the VoiceOver modifier that you press with additional keys to enter VoiceOver commands. By default, you can press Control and Option together or just press Caps Lock.
Press Command-Space bar to open Spotlight.
Enter an app name in the search field.
Press the Down Arrow or Up Arrow to navigate to the search result you want, then press Return.
