Listen to podcasts on all your devices
Your podcasts information—including the shows you follow, your channel subscriptions, your stations, and current play position—syncs to the Podcasts app on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch when you sign in to the same Apple Account.
On your Mac: Go to the Podcasts app
, choose Podcasts > Settings, click General, then make sure Sync Library is selected.On your iPhone or iPad with iOS 18, iPadOS 18, or later: Go to Settings > Apps > Podcasts, then make sure Sync Library is turned on.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or earlier: Go to Settings > Podcasts, then make sure Sync Library is turned on.
When you sign in to Apple Podcasts on the web, your followed shows, channel subscriptions, and current play position sync automatically.
If you have an iPod classic, iPod nano, or iPod shuffle, you have to sync your device with your Mac to add podcasts and other content to it. See Sync podcasts between your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
