Resolve document conflicts in Pages for iCloud
In certain circumstances, a document may get out of sync across your computers and devices. For example, if you edit a document in the Pages app on your iPad when you aren’t connected to the internet, then edit the same document on Pages for iCloud before the latest changes appear, you’ll get a conflict. The next time you open the document, the Resolve Conflict window appears, asking you to select the document you want to keep.
Go to Pages for iCloud , then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
In the Resolve Conflict window for your document, select the document you want to keep.
If you’re not sure which version you want to keep, select a document, then click Preview. To compare it with another version, select another document, then click Preview again.
The preview is view only (you can’t make any changes to it). To download or print a copy, click at the top of the preview window, then choose an option.
Click Keep Selection at the bottom of the Resolve Conflict window.
Tip: You can also click Keep in the upper-right corner of a document you’re previewing.
The unselected documents are deleted from all your iOS or iPadOS devices and computers set up with iCloud.
If you still have trouble resolving a conflict, visit the Pages for iCloud Support website.
