View your device’s serial number and firmware version in the Beats app for Android
Within the Beats app, you can see your Beats device’s serial number and firmware version.
In the Beats app for Android, tap
, tap My Beats to display the device screen, then scroll down to the “Under the hood” information.The product name and serial number are displayed.
Tip: If your Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Beats Studio Buds +, or Powerbeats Pro earphones are connected, tapping the serial number displays the serial number specific to the left earbud; tapping again displays the serial number specific to the right earbud.
Some Beats app features may not be available until your device’s firmware is updated. If a firmware update is available, an update button is displayed in the device screen. Tap the Update button, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your Beats headphones, earphones, or speakers.
