Organize your Freeform boards in folders on Mac
In the Freeform app, you can organize your boards into folders.
Create a folder
Go to the Freeform app
on your Mac.
Do one of the following:
Choose File > New Folder.
In the sidebar, click
, name your folder, then click OK. If you don’t see the sidebar, click
.
While browsing boards and folders, select one or more items, then choose File > New Folder from Selection.
To add boards or subfolders to your new folder, do any of the following:
Drag them to the folder in the sidebar or board browser.
Control-click a board or subfolder, choose Move to, then choose a folder.
Do any of the following:
Move a board or subfolder out of a folder: Control-click the board or subfolder, choose Move to, then choose Move to Top Level. A removed board goes to All Boards, and a removed subfolder goes to the top level of the folder list.
Rename a folder: Control-click a folder, choose Rename, enter a new name, then click OK.
Create a subfolder
When you drag a folder into another one, it becomes a subfolder. You can also create a subfolder by using menus.
Go to the Freeform app
on your Mac.
Do any of the following:
In the sidebar, move your pointer to the folder name, click
, then choose New Folder.
Control-click the folder in the sidebar, then choose New Folder.
Name the folder, then click OK.
