
Choose a sort order for lists in Chinese on Mac
You can sort items in the Finder by name. When you choose a language for your Mac, the sort order for names is automatically set. If you include Chinese in your preferred languages, several sort orders are available.
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu   in the sidebar, then click Language & Region. (You may need to scroll down.) in the sidebar, then click Language & Region. (You may need to scroll down.)
- Verify that a Chinese or Cantonese language is listed below Preferred Languages. If not, set up a Chinese or Cantonese input source. 
- Click the “List sort order” pop-up menu, then choose a sort order: - Chinese (Pinyin Sort Order): Unicode sort order based on Pinyin. 
- Chinese (Radical-Stroke Sort Order): Standard Kangxi sort order, organized by radical, then stroke count. 
- Chinese (Stroke Sort Order): Unicode sort order based on strokes. 
- Chinese (Zhuyin Sort Order): Traditional Chinese sort order based on Zhuyin (bopomofo) phonetic symbols.
