View weather conditions on Mac

In the Weather app on your Mac, do any of the following:

• View the hourly forecast: The hourly forecast shows the temperature, weather conditions, and chance of precipitation. You can swipe left or right on your mouse or trackpad to view the 24-hour forecast.

• View the 10-day forecast: The 10-day forecast shows the upcoming weather conditions, the chance of precipitation, and the estimated temperatures for the next 10 days.

• Check severe weather alerts: When available, information about major government-issued alerts is shown. Click to view the full alert.

• View other weather details: View the weather map and other weather details, such as UV index, precipitation, wind, humidity, and more. Click any weather detail to view the extended forecast, a daily summary, and additional information specific to that detail.

  Tip: Some weather details, such as humidity and precipitation, include interactive features. Hold your pointer over the chart to see data values at specific times, or click days to see data values for specific days.

  

• View weather news: An article chosen by Apple News editors about weather topics relevant to the location may be shown. Click the article to open it in the News app.

In the Weather app on your Mac, do any of the following:

• View a new location: Enter a location in the search field, then select the location you want to view.

• View a location in your weather list: Click in the toolbar to show your weather list, then click the location you want to view. See Add, remove, or rearrange locations in your weather list.

• In the Weather app on your Mac, choose View, then Choose Fahrenheit or Celsius.
