Change your Account Settings in the Apple TV app on Mac

When you have an Apple ID, you can sign in to the Apple TV app Account Settings to view or change your account information, show your purchase history, and more.

Change your account information

In the Apple TV app on your Mac, sign in with your Apple ID if you’re not already signed in.
Click the profile icon in the bottom-left corner.
In the Account Information window, make changes in any of the categories (detailed below), then click Done (you may have to scroll down).
Your changes take effect immediately, and apply to all apps in which you use your Apple ID.

Account Access

Option			Do the following
Apple TV Channels			Click Manage on the right, follow the onscreen instructions, then click Done.

Settings

Option			Do the following
Nickname			Click Create Nickname or Edit Nickname on the right, follow the onscreen instructions, then click Submit.
Reviews and Ratings			Click Manage on the right, click Remove next to the reviews or ratings you want to remove, then click Done.
Alert Me			Click Manage on the right, select the options you want (or deselect the ones you don’t), then click Save Changes.
Personalized Recommendations			Click Manage on the right, select to show (or deselect to hide) personalized recommendations, then click Save Changes.
Passes			Click Manage on the right, select the checkbox to the right of a pass to receive email notifications when a new episode is available (or deselect the checkbox to stop receiving email notifications), then click Save Changes.
Subscriptions			See the Apple Support article If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple.
Pre-Orders			See the Apple Support article View or cancel pre-orders for apps, movies, music, or books.
Reset all warnings for buying and downloading media			Click the Reset button at the bottom of the Account Information page.
