Format fractions automatically in Pages on Mac
You can set Pages to automatically format fractions as you type. The setting doesn’t apply to fractions you type in table cells or comments.
Choose Pages > Settings (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen).
Click Auto-Correction at the top of the settings window.
In the Formatting section, select the “Automatically format fractions” checkbox.
Type a fraction (for example, 1/2), then press the Space bar and keep typing, or press Return.
The setting applies to text you type from now on—it doesn’t change fractions you’ve already typed.
Thanks for your feedback.
