Use Transfer or Reset settings on Mac
Use Transfer or Reset settings to open Migration Assistant or Erase Assistant. Migration Assistant lets you transfer your documents, apps, user accounts, and settings to your Mac from another Mac or PC, or from a Time Machine backup. Erase Assistant lets you safely erase all content and settings on your Mac.
To open Transfer or Reset settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then click Transfer or Reset on the right.
