Turn off Screen Time on your Mac
If you don’t want to use Screen Time on your Mac anymore, you can turn it off. You can turn Screen Time off for yourself, or for a child you manage.
Turn off Screen Time for yourself
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Screen Time in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
If you’re using Family Sharing, click the pop-up menu on the right, then choose yourself.
Turn off Screen Time.
Turn off Screen Time for a child
On your Mac, do one of the following:
If you’re using Family Sharing: Log in to your Mac user account, then make sure you’re signed in with your Apple ID.
If you aren’t using Family Sharing: Log in to the child’s Mac user account.
Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Screen Time in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
If you’re using Family Sharing, click the pop-up menu on the right, then choose a child.
Turn off Screen Time.
