Programmatic Guaranteed
Through our Workbench integration with Google Ad Manager 360, you have access to Programmatic Guaranteed for booking advertising on Apple News. Programmatic Guaranteed increases the efficiency of selling your direct-sold inventory, allowing you to negotiate terms and finalize all campaign details directly with the buyer within Google Ad Manager 360. Once you and the buyer have agreed on terms, Google Ad Manager 360 will automatically generate a campaign for delivery on Apple News.

If you already use Programmatic Guaranteed to monetize your content within other platforms, you can use the integration immediately. If Programmatic Guaranteed hasn’t been used in the past, make sure the feature is enabled by following these instructions.
In the UK, Apple publishers using Google Ad Manager 360 will have their ads served under Google’s Limited ads (LTD) category — which does not support Programmatic Guaranteed. For details, see Google’s Limited ads documentation.
How Programmatic Guaranteed works for Apple News ads
You can make/receive, negotiate, and accept Programmatic Guaranteed offers using Google Ad Manager 360.
Deal terms, flight times, impression goals, targeting, and so on are booked via Google Ad Manager 360.
It provides flexibility for Apple News inventory to be included with your other inventory (such as app or website) with each proposal.
You can utilize the standard creative workflow in Google Ad Manager 360, uploading creative or ad tags. Apple News creative templates are also supported.
Supported ad formats
Google Ad Manager Programmatic Guaranteed supports the following ad formats for direct upload ads and third-party ad tags:
Apple News supported third-party ad tags (excluding Google Campaign Manager script) are also supported.
Ad Serving/Policy Associated
Apple News will treat all bookings using the Programmatic Guaranteed integration as publisher direct sold priority. Google Ad Manager 360 will determine delivery priority based on all campaign settings.
Guidelines
Please note the following guidelines when using Programmatic Guaranteed for Apple News ads:
If Apple News inventory is included with your other inventory within the proposal, it is important to note that any ad formats that run on your non-Apple inventory that don’t meet Apple News specifications will not be supported on Apple News.
Only Google Ad Manager targeting options for Apple News are supported (first-party audience segments are not supported).
Only third-party ad tags designated for Apple News from approved vendors (excluding Google Campaign Manager) will be supported. See Apple News third-party ad tag technical specs for details.
