Use Terminal window groups
If you have an arrangement of Terminal windows that you use regularly, you can save them as a window group and have them open automatically whenever you open Terminal.
Create window groups
Set up and arrange the windows you want in the group.
Place the windows where you want them, then configure each with the desired settings and tabs. These settings are saved with the group.
Choose Window > Save Windows as Group.
Enter a name for the window group.
If you want Terminal to open with these windows, select “Use window group when Terminal starts.”
Click Save.
Open a window group
Choose Window > Open Window Group > [group name].
Remove a window group
Choose Terminal > Preferences.
Click Window Groups.
Select a window group, then click the Remove button
