If an email account is inactive in Mail on Mac
In the Mail app on your Mac, a disabled email account is dimmed in the list of accounts in Mail settings, and its mailboxes and messages aren’t shown in the Message viewer.
Do one of the following:
Turn on accounts in Mail: Choose Mail > Settings, click Accounts, select the inactive account, click Account Information, then select “Enable this account.”
Turn on accounts in System Settings: Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, click Internet Accountsin the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), select an account on the right, then turn Mail on.
