Complete redesign

Aperture controls
Use manual aperture settings to take control of depth of field, exposure, and the visual style of your video. See Adjust the aperture setting and exposure on iPhone 18 Pro or later and Use aperture priority or shutter priority mode on iPhone 18 Pro or later.
Professional scopes and overlays
Monitor your video with the waveform and histogram, get exactly the exposure you want using false color and clipping indicators with threshold settings, and perfect focus using improved focus peaking with sensitivity control. Cinematic video
Get Cinematic mode effects from regular video using Final Cut Camera and iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone Duo. For example, record video in Final Cut Camera on iPhone 18 Pro, and then adjust focus points and depth of field using Final Cut Pro. (Requires macOS 27 or later or iPadOS 27 or later.)
Clean SDI output
Send a clean video signal using an HDMI-to-SDI converter for broadcast-quality streams. (Requires iPhone 17 Pro or later and iOS 27 or later.) See Output a broadcast-quality SDI stream.
Genlock offset
